About Me

My photo
My wife & I were able to put University of Michigan & Michigan State rivalry aside. We have been married for 44 years, have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. I was an active Rotarian. I ran my own sales company for a number of years. Customers were here & overseas. I felt fortunate to have had both Ford & Mercedes as customers.

What happens if you have a medical emergency and you can't speak? Patent Pending encoding in the Medical Emergency Response System gives your address to the 911 Operator as soon as the connection is made. You don't need to say a word.

What happens if I'm unable to open the door for Paramedics and there is no one else at home with me at that moment? Paramedics will have immediate access if there already is one of the Company's newly designed Lock Boxes on your front door handle. We'll be giving more information on this in future Posts.

Keep in mind that Firemen will make sure Paramedics have immediate access. They'll break through a window or knock down a door so they do. Replacement is expensive: over $300.
With this System, you communicate via the Pendent rather than through a base unit, the way competitive Systems do. This means you are not restricted to staying within 50 feet of the base unit to make sure your Emergency call will be received. You can be anywhere in a typical house & even outside and get connected to 911 immediately.

The Pendent is the world's smallest cellphone. You want to keep it close to you at all times: on the lanyard, kept in the wrist strap or carried in the belt clip. All three are included.

It's 1.9 Gegahertz DECT technology assures the user of superb voice quality.

You don't need a professional installer. Just plug the Base wire into an existing telephone jack. Or, plug the base & telephone wires into the splitter and plug the splitter into the telephone jack. Press the Button on the Pendent when there is an emergency and be connected directly to 911 or 3 other choices.

We've covered a number of medical emergencies that Medical Emergency Systems get Paramedic help on the way very quickly. We feel privileged to be able to offer 2 on our website, from a Company that offers important new features that competition does not offer.

Competition charges a monthly fee of $29.95 per month. Many require a Contract for 3 years. I don't think this is very important for anyone for anyone who is considering getting a Medical Emergency System. Why,you buy it to help you live Independently for as many more years as posible. A hospital Case Management person, told me that several patients who have had to become a patient again in their Hospital have been using them for 15 years or more. That's an outlay of over $5,000. You buy ours for $279.95 and it's yours forever, without any additional fees. I'll be giving you some of these important technological advances in future Posts.

Here's something else that can happen. Yet, we do not prepare ourselves for it. I'm talking about Falling.

Who would believe that Falls are the leading cause of accidental death for Seniors? I hadn't even considered this could be something that could happen to me. You can imagine my surprise when I ran across an Article in the Center of Disease Control that said that Seniors are hospitalized for fall related injuries 5% more often than they are hospitalized for all other injuries combined. Falls are the leading cause of death for Seniors.

An article in the New England Journal of Medicine went even farther.
50% of people who fall will require assistance to get up. 90% who get it within 1 hour will continue to Independent Living; but only 10% will be able to live Independently after that.

What happens if you have a Medical Emergency and it's interfered with your ability to speak? With the System I'm presenting, you just press the Button on the Pendent. It will give your address to the 911 Operator as soon as the connection is made, thanks to Patent Pending encoding.

Let me back up.

Most people accept that anyone with a heart condition should have a Medical Emergency Response System. Are there other important reasons? Yes, unfortunately very few people anticipate them. I'm going to give you some so you won't get caught short.

You have an emergency that needs Paramedic help. There's a heavy storm moving through your area and you can't reach 911 because your normal telephone service is not available. The Medical Emergency Response System I'll be talking about has its own built in power back up to keep the System active until normal telephone service is restored.

They have happened, not to me; but to my wife and a close friend.

My wife has a medical situation that is progressive. We've had time to get the Medical Emergency Response equipment & other items in place before they were needed. You should too!

I will be presenting Emergency situations & helpful solutions to them.
